Gloria Piserchia
When Dr. Emil Piserchia was named Chairman of Anesthesiology in 1953, Elizabeth General gained an additional supporter in Gloria, his wife. A natural leader, Gloria lent her talents to the Ladies Aid Society, later the Auxiliary of Elizabeth General. Her tenure spanned more than 50 years and included multiple terms as Auxiliary President and membership on the hospital Board.
